What is your favorite or most memorable match — and why?

I’ve had a ton of great matches this season but my most memorable was my first match as states. The feeling of wrestling at the Florida State Tournament for the first time felt great and something I’ll never forget.

What are your wrestling goals for the year?

To be on top of that podium, and getting ready for college.

What is your favorite thing about wrestling?

The journey…the 1st place medals, brackets, and trophies are cool but for me the progress I’ve made and the connections/friendships I’ve made are 1000% better then anything I’ve mentioned.

Who is your favorite wrestler to compete against?

Although he might not be wrestler I compete against at a tournament during the season or offseason, my practice partner for me is my toughest opponent and is the one that makes me better as a wrestler and a person. He knows all my moves so it can be hard getting something going on him and he also gets in my head sometimes and I can confidently say I’ll never let another wrestler get in my head like he does. And that’s part of why he's my favorite wrestler to compete against he makes physically and mentally stronger everyday.

What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

In Mexico, I jumped into a 27ft. cenote aka a “water cave”

What are your plans for after high school?

Wrestling in college
