What is your favorite or most memorable match — and why?

I have to say my most memorable match was in the regions against the #9 ranked heavyweight (Tyrell Higgins from Lincoln Park). He was a senior and I was a sophomore (ranked 14th at the time) and it was the blood round match. I won by fall in the third period.

What are your wrestling goals for the year?

To place at States

What is your favorite thing about wrestling?

It's like a game of chess. There are a lot of options and counters and you always have to be thinking a step ahead. It is also one of the toughest thing you'll ever do, so it will prepare you well for the future.

Who is your favorite wrestler to compete against?

Darren Georges from SLAM. He is an amazing opponent and our matches are always competitive

What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

The first time I stepped on the mat in live competition

What are your plans for after high school?

Wrestle in college and study Neurology
