February 19, 2025

BY BRANT PARSONS — Boy’s district week is really heating up today with 13 districts scheduled to take place.

We’ve gone through and picked out some matches in each district we’d like to see happen.

That doesn’t mean that they will. We can’t always predict weight changes, injuries and illness, and sometimes the bracket has other plans.

But we think that these would be a treat if they go down.

3A-3: at Timber Creek, 1:30 p.m.

126: #7 Hunter Jessee (Hagerty) vs. #10 Joey Davis (Lake Brantley)

Jessee went 2-0 against Davis at the Flagler Rotary in their only meetings this season. One of them was an 8-3 decision.

175: #6 William Muniz (Timber Creek) vs. #8 Gavin Nelson (Hagerty)

One of Muniz’s two wins this season between the two was a 2-1 decision.

3A-14: at West Broward, 10 a.m.
