Monday matches to watch in district tournament today
BY BRANT PARSONS — The first of 48 boys districts this week takes place today with 3A-1 having everyone’s attention.
That doesn’t mean that they will take place of course. We can’t always predict weight changes, injuries and illness, and sometimes the bracket has other plans.
But we think that these would be a treat if they go down.
3A-1: at Fletcher, 10 a.m.
138: #11 Brady Stoutamire (Nease) vs. #12 Mason Damis (Bartram Trail)
They met in Week 10 in the St. John’s Conference final with Stoutamire winning by major decision.
144: #7 Elias Twigg (Fletcher) vs. #10 Luke Manghisi (Creekside)
Twigg won the one meeting between the two this season at the Flagler Rotary.
175: #4 Jonathan Morrison (Creekside) vs. #7 Theodore Brase (Fletcher)
We don’t have any record of them meeting so far this season.
