Florida’s high school wrestling season begins with loaded tournament at FPC

BY BRANT PARSONS — The 2024-2025 Florida high school wrestling season is finally here and it kicks off with a big girls tournament at Flagler Palm Coast.

Five of the top 10 girls teams in the latest Kabra Wrestling team rankings will be there including #1 Flagler Palm Coast and #2 Hernando.

The tournament could see as many as 82 ranked-wrestlers, six top-ranked wrestlers and 28 top five wrestlers.

The Girls Flagler Rotary tournament will being at 10 a.m. at Flagler Palm Coast High School.
