Here are the latest known coaching changes in high school wrestling for the state of Florida.

Boys Head Coach Openings

Lake Buena Vista: (from FHSAA classifieds) Seeking a Head Boys and Girls Wrestling coach. Seeking a candidate with the ability to build a program, effectively motivate student athletes both physically and mentally, communicate with both parents and student athletes, teach the fundamentals of the game with strategic planning and instruction, and cooperatively work with faculty, staff, and administration. We are looking for a candidate who is organized, hardworking, an effective communicator and motivator, and possess the desire to build a successful and respected program in a highly competitive area. Prior head coaching experience is preferred but not required. Lake Wales: Looking for a head wrestling coach for the 2024-2025 boys and girls season. Responsibilities include overseeing practices, matches, transportation, and student athlete eligibility. The coach would need to be available for after school practices and Saturday matches. It would be the responsibility of the individual to complete all required certification requirements set by the FHSAA to be a coach. Palmetto Ridge: (from FHSAA classifieds) Is seeking candidates to become the new Head Coach for Boys Wrestling. There may be teaching positions available based on your current FLDOE Teacher certification. The position does not require you to be a teacher but would be preferred. We are looking for the best candidate whether they are a teacher or not. Position will start officially on November 11th and oversee all operations relevant to the wrestling program. The PRHS Wrestling program has had a very successful past and we would like to see the program strengthen and grow. Assistant Coach Openings

Cocoa Beach: currently looking for an Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach and a JV Boys Wrestling Coach. Our program currently has a very large amount of JV wrestlers that need a dedicated coach to come on board and help them develop. Flagler Palm Coast is looking for girls and boys assistant coaches. Possible teaching positions may be available depending on certification(s) (No PE jobs at this time). Anyone interested can contact bossardetd@flaglerschools.com or drabczyks@flaglerschools.com.

Wolfson: We are looking for highly motivated and committed assistant wrestling coaches to help develop our boys, girls and JV programs further. We are ideally looking for who is passionate about instructing all of our student-athletes, while balancing the rigorous academic demands of a fully academic magnet high school.
