Here are the latest known coaching changes in high school wrestling for the state of Florida.

Bradenton Christian School: (from FHSAA classifieds) Is looking to fill the position of Head Varsity Wrestling Coach. This is a supplemented position. We also have teaching/staff positions that can be found on our website. Forest: Previous experience in wrestling / coaching is preferred. Duties include but are not limited to; proper supervision, student safety and weight tracking, on the mat coaching, all administrative aspects of the program such as student-athlete paperwork and fees, Track Wrestling certification and entries, fundraising, scheduling, monitoring student academics and conduct, and constant communication with all program stakeholders. We are looking for a hard-working individual that will provide a positive example and strive to deliver an outstanding athletic experience for our student athletes. Largo: Is in need of a paid Head Wrestling Coach, Assistant Wrestling Coach and Girls Wrestling Coach as well as two volunteer coaches. Please contact Laynert@pcsb.org

Orange City University: (from FHSAA classifieds) We are looking for candidates who will oversee all aspects and levels of the program, including but not limited to player & program development, sound practice & conditioning programs, sport equipment maintenance, fundraising, student character and leadership development, academic monitoring, communication with all stakeholders and adherence to all FHSAA, Volusia County Schools, and University High School rules. Sanford Seminole: (from FHSAA classifieds) We are looking for a high energy, organized person to over see a program that has a history of success but is currently in need of a rebuild. The Head wrestling coach is tasked with all aspects of building and growing a competitive championship program. Previous successful head coaching experience is preferred but not required. Girls Head Coach Openings

McKeel Academy: Looking for a girls coach, contact Frank Olinger at Frankolinger@mckeelschools.com

Wolfson: We are looking for a highly motivated and committed head wrestling coach or assistant wrestling coach to help develop the girls program further. We are ideally looking for a female coach that has wrestled in college or high school or has a strong background in freestyle wrestling, judo or jiu-jitsu, who wants to be a positive, supportive force for our girls and is passionate about instructing all of our student-athletes how much fun wrestling can be, while balancing the rigorous academic demands of a fully academic magnet high school. This individual will be responsible for attending all practices, fitness sessions and competitions (usually Saturdays) in addition to out of town travel for post season FHSAA regional and state meets. All Duval County Public Schools Athletic Coaches are required to hold either a valid Florida Educator Certificate or a valid Athletic Coaching Certificate to be completed before the start of the season.  For individuals who hold a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate, an additional Athletic Coaching Certificate is not required.  If interested in this position,  please email spenced@duvalschools.org 

Assistant Coach Openings

Cocoa Beach: currently looking for an Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach and a JV Boys Wrestling Coach. Our program currently has a very large amount of JV wrestlers that need a dedicated coach to come on board and help them develop.
