Kabra Wrestling’s ‘Wrestlers of the Week’ Team for Week 2

Zephyrhills Christian’s winning performance at the Kiwanis Invitational earned their spot as Kabra Wrestling’s Boys Team of the Week.

BY BRANT PARSONS — Each week during the season, Kabra Wrestling picks a wrestler of the week at each weight class and an overall team for both boys and girls.

Separate from the Reader’s Choice vote, this list is determined solely by Kabra Wrestling and we look to highlight accomplishments from across the state.

See all of our honorees from the season so far

A note for this weekend’s teams: Our goal is to have different winners each week, but some performances come with an automatic placement on the team. This week, if a wrestler earned their way onto the podium at Walsh Jesuit in Ohio, they’re on the team. If they’ve been honored before, we’ve picked another person at the weight class too.

We also try to keep it to just one student-athlete per weight class, but since we are also the boss, we can change that up whenever we want if there’s a worthy reason why.

Congrats to all who were named.
