Emily Doolittle, North Fort Myers

Emily won AAU girls states at 105 lbs. a week ago and yesterday she won the Father Devine qualifier at 100 lbs. and a spot on Team Florida Dual Team.

Beyonce Espinosa, Gladiator

Beyonce “Queen Bee” Espinosa has been on a tear in the last 2 weeks, not only defeating 2 current State champs 2 weeks in a row but tech falling each one of them. She defeated Iyanna Church Ross last week at Poseiden and Joslyn Johnson this week at the father Devine. She is more than worthy of this mention.

Jayla Sanders, Bartow

After finishing sixth at the state high school tournament in March, only in her second year, she left the mat feeling disappointed. However, she wasted no time in getting back to work. Since then, she has been diligently attending practice five days a week, putting in the hard work to prepare for the AAU States. I am thrilled to inform you that her dedication and perseverance paid off. At the AAU state tournament, she showed tremendous improvement from where she was in March. Her hard work and determination allowed her to secure first place in the 135 LB AAU state division. This accomplishment is a testament to her commitment to the sport and her relentless pursuit of excellence.

Marco Rivera, Pasco Wolfpack Wrestling

Went 7-1 at Poseidon and beat Georgia state champ 15-6. Was our outstanding wrestler.
