What is your favorite or most memorable match — and why?

I would have to say my favorite match of the year was at Lincoln duals. I was ranked 11th at the time and Jakob Nowak was ranked 3rd I believe, I was up in the 3rd period and the ref hit me for fleeing the mat while trying to escape. We went into overtime but I lost after an inside trip. The reason I would say it’s my favorite is because before then I didn’t think I could wrestle with the top guys in the weight class but that showed me I could. If it wasn’t for that moment I don’t think I would’ve been mentally prepared for the state run.

What are your wrestling goals for the year?

State champ

What is your favorite thing about wrestling?

The way it mentally and physically prepares you to be able to take on anything

Who is your favorite wrestler to compete against?

Dastan Chiketaev from Palmetto. Nickname (Dino), I feel our matches are a good rivalry.

What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

What are your plans for after high school?

Play D1 football in college
