Updated Kabra Wrestling team rankings

BY BRANT PARSONS — Kabra Wrestling’s Top 20 team rankings have been updated for all four classification IBTs and all three duals.

These are based solely on the information at our disposal. We know some movement of wrestlers, but not all. We know some rising impact freshman, but not all. These rankings could change as the season grows closer as our rankings change and as we get more information.

This is the best snapshot we have at the time of where the team rankings stand ahead of the 23-24 season. We’ll have the official Kabra Wrestling preseason team rankings released when The Florida High School Wrestling Preview is published on November 13, 2023.

A note about the rankings:

Our IBT rankings are based on the official Kabra Wrestling rankings. The formula used in determining the IBT rankings is solely focused on how teams will fare in the season-ending IBT championship. These are different from our team dual rankings that exist leading up to the state duals tournament.

Kabra Wrestling rankings are based on the information that I am able to obtain and determined based upon head-to-head results, common opponent results and input from wrestling minds across the state. The goal of Kabra Wrestling rankings is always to be as accurate as possible, but we do reserve the right to be wrong in future events. There is no favoritism or bias toward any wrestler or program.

Our goal is to have the best rankings possible and we thank everybody who provides information for the assistance and support.

These rankings will be included in Kabra+ memberships.
