What they are saying: “The kids in the offseason were all hitting the gym. They were all going to club. I think we’re going to have a good year. We could have three state qualifiers if everything goes to plan and I think they’re going to compete.”
On new district: “I’m excited to go against teams that we’ve never really competed against except for at tournaments. Now we can actually see them in district duals and region duals and looking at the teams, I think we match up pretty well.”
More on the team: “It’s not really a rebuilding year but it’s kind of like a rebuilding year. We have a lot of kids and since we are a charter, we have grades 6-12. And they’ve been working hard in the offseason. They’ve been playing football. They’ve been getting a little bit more aggressive. And they’re getting a lot taller. So it’s really exciting because we have struggled to fill a complete lineup, the ones we have in the lineup will compete well with other teams.”
Outlook: The Panthers are in a brand-new district and could win a district title this season.

What they are saying: “JCS use to have a very solid team through the first decade of the 2000's -- State Champs. However, the school did away with the program for a couple years when COVID-19 hit. So it's been a complete restart since the 2021-22 season, which only had five first-timers come out. Each year since we have doubled the team. We're on the upward trend with success.”
Outlook: The rebuilding process has hit the stage where you should start to see some state-level success for the Eagles. The goals for this team are sending multiple wrestlers to Kissimmee.
